NET Health District Order 2013-1, Section III B.4, requires each establishment to have at least one person on premise during operation attend a training provided by or approved by NET Health.
The goal of the program is to educate owners and operators of public swimming pools and spas. Swimming in public swimming pools and spas is great entertainment as well as great exercise. Ongoing training and inspection by industry and public health must be conducted to minimize the hazards of drowning incidents, entrapment injuries as well as diving accidents.
Failure to comply will result in suspension of the Pool Permit. Two ways to comply with NET Health District Order 2013-1, Section III B.4 are as follows:
Option 1: Obtain a valid Certified Pool Operator Certificate and register it with
NETHealth located at 815 N. Broadway Tyler, TX 75702.
Option 2: Attend one of our Pool/Spa Training courses below.
